NDIS
The National Disability Insurance Scheme
NDIS is the new way of providing support for Australians with disabilities, their families and carers. It provides financial support to offset the impact a disability has on a persons ability to engage in life.
Helping people to:
- Access mainstream services
- Access community services
- Receive reasonable and necessary funded support
What does this mean for the Michael Wenden Aquatic Leisure Centre?
We have been approved to provide learn to swim lessons and personal training.
Creating pathways to aquatic independence and increasing ones wellbeing, we aim to progress anyone with a disability towards their life goals.
With a focus on health and wellbeing, social connection and community participation, we work actively within the community to provide any information, links, supports and services that will assist you.
